OKX has released its 46th Proof of Reserves with a snapshot date of August 11. The exchange reported user BTC holdings at approximately 134,000 BTC, representing a 4.52% increase or 5,810 BTC from the prior snapshot on July 7. Stablecoin holdings declined notably, with user USDT dropping 7.17% or roughly 627 million USDT to 8.117 billion USDT total. ETH positions remained largely flat, decreasing just 0.17% or 3,022 ETH to 1.725 million ETH.
The modest growth in bitcoin reserves contrasts with the sharp contraction in dollar-denominated stablecoin reserves. The ETH holdings showed minimal movement period-over-period. No details were provided about the reserve verification methodology, whether these holdings are custodied, or how they relate to total user deposits on the platform.
