Ripple unveiled four major initiatives during its Swell 2026 conference held October 27–29 in New York. The announcements included a strategic partnership with Robinhood centered on stablecoin and treasury operations, an expanded arrangement with BNY Mellon to integrate XRP and RLUSD into its custody platform, a financing collaboration with C2FO enabling instant supplier payments on the XRPL, and final regulatory clearance for Ripple National Trust Bank to manage reserves and custody operations.
The stablecoin and custody partnerships align with Ripple's strategy to broaden enterprise adoption of its blockchain infrastructure. BNY Mellon's custody support extends institutional access to Ripple's assets, while the C2FO arrangement targets supply-chain finance use cases by leveraging the XRPL for rapid settlement of supplier payments.
Ripple Treasury also introduced 24/7 Returns, a corporate cash management product. The regulatory approval for Ripple National Trust Bank represents a structural step toward offering banking and reserve-management services, though details on implementation timeline and scope remain unclear at this stage.
