UAE law enforcement announced the dismantling of four interconnected criminal networks, resulting in 33 arrests across 12 nationalities and the seizure of assets exceeding 65 billion dirhams—approximately $54 million or more in seized and confiscated funds. The operation, termed End of Battle, targeted key leaders and members involved in electronic hacking, money laundering, theft of digital wallets, fraud, extortion, and data trafficking. Among those arrested were social engineering threat actors including Danish Zulfiqar, Ibrahim Mustafa, and Cameron Cureton.
The criminal networks operated with sophisticated infrastructure designed to evade detection, using encryption, closed digital platforms that changed every eight hours, and access restricted to organization members. The Sharjah Police Digital Crime Combating Department, working with the Ministry of Interior and international partners, secured more than 3,000 digital wallets under investigation and protected over 30 companies and institutions globally.
The scope and technical sophistication of the dismantled networks remain partially unclear from public statements; details on individual suspects' alleged roles and the specific jurisdictional basis for charges have not been fully disclosed.
