Ukraine's National Police and Security Service dismantled a network of fake cryptocurrency investment platforms operated from Kyiv that processed up to $1 million monthly, according to the agencies. The scheme targeted at least 62 victims across more than 20 countries by running deceptive ads on Telegram, directing users to lookalike exchanges where fraudulent trading dashboards were displayed before drainer code captured their wallet credentials. The operation involved more than 46 recruited participants across several Kyiv offices, and investigators recovered server databases containing victim information, internal records, and details of stolen sums during 34 searches.
