Upbit lists HOME (Defi App governance token) while Bithumb adds META2 (MetaDAO prediction markets) and USDG (Paxos stablecoin) to KRW markets.
Regulation & Gov ·
Upbit, South Korea's largest crypto exchange, will list HOME, the governance and utility token for Defi App, a cross-chain DeFi platform that operates across EVM and Solana ecosystems and provides token trading, lending, and yield management. The token will be available on both KRW and USDT markets.
Bithumb, the country's second-largest exchange, is simultaneously expanding its KRW offerings with two new assets. META2 represents MetaDAO, a Solana-based governance protocol that embeds prediction markets into DAO decision-making via the Futarchy model. The exchange is also adding USDG, a USD-pegged stablecoin issued by Paxos and maintained at 1:1 backing with the U.S. dollar.
The listings signal continued institutional appetite for governance tokens, prediction-market infrastructure, and regulated stablecoin assets in South Korea's exchange ecosystem. Timing and specific launch dates for these listings remain unspecified.
