Alpha Ladder WealthX launched tokenised U.S. equities (xStocks) for institutional and accredited investors in APAC in partnership with MetaComp and Kraken's parent Payward.

Alpha Ladder Finance, a Singapore-based wealth platform, has begun offering xStocks—blockchain-based representations of U.S. equities—to institutional and accredited investors across selected Asia-Pacific markets. The rollout follows a Memorandum of Understanding among Alpha Ladder, MetaComp, and Payward (parent of Kraken), positioning Alpha Ladder as a distribution partner for the tokenised equity product in the region. The firm describes itself as among Asia's first licensed wealth managers to offer such access.
xStocks tokens are fully collateralised representations of publicly listed companies, delivering economic exposure to the underlying securities while excluding voting rights or share ownership. According to figures the company cites, the product spans over 700 assets, has generated more than US$40 billion in cumulative transaction volume, and counts more than 200,000 unique holders globally. The tokens support extended trading windows and on-chain settlement, though actual availability hinges on platform and product arrangements.
The launch reflects broader institutional appetite for tokenised assets. Data cited by the company indicates that on-chain real-world assets reached approximately US$19.3 billion by end-March 2026, compared with roughly US$5.4 billion in January 2025. The three partners said they will continue exploring additional tokenisation opportunities, products, and counterparties in the region, though specific timelines remain unannounced.
