Robinhood Chain hits ~844K RWA holders in 2 months with $31B stablecoin and $4.5B RWA transfers in 30 days, showing memes and stables driving volume more than stocks.
RWA & Tokenization ·
Robinhood Chain has reached approximately 844,000 real-world asset (RWA) holders in its first two months of operation, according to on-chain activity data. The network shows about $49 million in stock token holdings and $773 million in stablecoins across the holder base, revealing early adoption patterns as the layer-2 blockchain launches equity trading functionality.
The transfer volumes, however, paint a different picture of where user activity concentrates. Over a 30-day period, the chain processed approximately $4.5 billion in RWA transfers and $31 billion in stablecoin transfers, suggesting stablecoin movement and meme token activity are driving measurable on-chain volume despite stocks being the primary product headline.
The contrast between held balances and transferred volumes indicates that while stock tokens represent the core value proposition of a brokerage-focused layer-2, retail participation appears to be gravitating toward stablecoin liquidity and speculative assets. Whether this pattern reflects early retail behavior or a sustained preference for non-equity trading remains to be seen as the network matures.
