Robinhood Chain processed $11.31 billion in tokenized stock volume during September, up from $526 million in July, as trading in this asset class accelerates internationally. However, seven major US corporations—including Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, and Qualcomm—have objected to having tokenized versions of their shares listed on OKXICE, the tokenized securities platform jointly operated by crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, per CNBC. As of Wednesday, 16 companies total have filed objections with the venue, signaling corporate resistance to this particular model despite the surge in offshore trading activity.
