Fetch AI's token converter exploited for $1.54M in FET tokens; related cluster also received $452K in newly minted NTX, totaling ~$2.01M in identified losses.
Security & Exploits ·
On September 19, 2026, Fetch AI's token converter on Ethereum was exploited for approximately $1.54 million in FET tokens. An exploit cluster was identified draining the funds from the converter contract, with the stolen assets subsequently transferred across multiple blockchain addresses.
The same cluster received an additional $452,000 in newly minted NTX tokens from the NuNet deployer, bringing the total identified value of the incident to approximately $2.01 million. The exploit involved three distinct blockchain addresses that coordinated the drainage and receipt of the compromised assets.
No information has yet been disclosed regarding the vulnerability mechanism, whether the exploit has been patched, or steps being taken to recover the funds or compensate affected parties.
