Individuals claiming responsibility for the July 2-3 Hinkal incident have posted an on-chain message to the wallet associated with the exploit, offering to negotiate the return of stolen funds in exchange for a significant portion of them. The message directs the victim to decrypt an encrypted Signal invitation using their wallet's private key to initiate private discussions about a resolution. The contact method suggests the exploiters are seeking to conduct fund recovery negotiations outside public channels.
