An unnamed European Union entity had more than $106 million withdrawn from centralized exchange accounts on November 1, according to onchain investigator ZachXBT. The stolen funds, initially moved as USDC and USDT, were subsequently converted through instant exchanges, swapped into ETH and Monero, and bridged across multiple blockchains within 24 hours. ZachXBT stated with high confidence that the attacker is not affiliated with North Korea's Lazarus Group, distinguishing this incident from the concurrent $6.4 billion Binance hack attributed to a North Korean hacking group.
