A wallet owner drained of 0.8626 ETH (approximately $2,078) on October 18 posted an onchain message to the alleged attacker proposing a partial recovery arrangement: the victim would accept return of 0.737 ETH while allowing the attacker to retain $300, in exchange for withdrawing a public complaint filed against associated wallet addresses. The victim, who stated the funds represented their entire savings and family resources, set a 72-hour deadline and warned that failure to comply would result in continued monitoring and reporting of the attacker's wallets.
