Arbitrum DAO reported $6.19M in revenue during the first half of 2026, driven by transaction activity and a new licensing fee stream from Robinhood Chain. The network processed 478M transactions in that period, contributing to 2.7B lifetime transactions, with revenue accruing across four income lines at gross margins exceeding 97%.
Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum's technology and launched on mainnet July 1, has emerged as a significant revenue contributor. The chain generated $360K in licensing fees during its first full month of operation and recorded a single-day peak of $3.75M in fees on September 1. This licensing model represents a diversification of Arbitrum's revenue beyond traditional base-layer transaction fees.
The sustainability and trajectory of Robinhood Chain's contribution remain to be seen. Growth rates and whether the September peak represents a plateau or the start of an upward trend have not yet been disclosed. The longer-term impact of this new revenue stream on Arbitrum's economic model depends on continued adoption of the chain and the stability of its fee generation.
