Aztec's Tierra upgrade addresses a critical vulnerability from its prior version and introduces formal verification of cryptographic components alongside an AI-powered security testing tool. The privacy-focused Ethereum layer-2 also cut message delivery time from Ethereum to its network from two minutes to as little as 12 seconds, while private transaction proof generation on standard devices now takes roughly one second, a twofold improvement. The deployment includes new applications for payments, trading, AI inference, and messaging, with zk.money as the flagship offering enabling direct deposits from Ethereum wallets.
