Binance's tokenized equities product bStocks has reached $1 billion in assets under management, becoming the fastest product in its category globally to hit that threshold. Launched on June 11, 2026, the platform crossed the milestone in roughly four months, with cumulative trading volume exceeding $40 billion and daily volume surpassing $300 million across nearly 100 listed assets.
The platform enables 24/7 trading, on-chain settlement, and direct wallet-to-wallet transfers of tokenized equities. Direct conversions between underlying equities and their bStocks equivalents have exceeded $6 billion, suggesting meaningful two-way flows between traditional holdings and their blockchain-native counterparts. Binance indicated expansion into collateral use cases as a next phase.
What remains unclear is adoption breadth—whether the $1 billion AUM reflects concentration among large institutional participants or wider retail uptake, and how the product's performance compares to non-tokenized equity trading volumes on the same exchange.
