Bitget Wallet integrates Reality's tokenized US stocks and ETFs (1,700+ instruments) on Arbitrum and Morph, enabling RWA collateral in DeFi.
Tech & Launches ·
Bitget Wallet, serving over 100 million users, has integrated Reality Protocol's tokenized US equities, making roughly 1,700 rTokens tradable across Arbitrum and Morph blockchains. The offering spans approximately 600 underlying stocks and ETFs—representing around 95% of US equity trading volume—with each token maintaining a 1:1 backing by securities held at FINRA-registered custodian Alpaca Securities. Daily Proof of Reserves attestations verify the reserve backing.
The integration places tokenized equities directly within a mainstream self-custody wallet, removing traditional friction points like separate brokerage account setup. Users can execute fractional trades across supported assets, access US market liquidity through Nasdaq and NYSE connections, and manage stock exposure alongside their existing onchain holdings. Cross-chain routing automates swaps and network transfers to optimize transaction costs.
The structure grants rToken holders economic exposure to underlying securities but notably does not confer shareholder voting rights. Corporate actions, including eligible cash dividends, are automatically processed in USDT. Whether this integration materially shifts institutional or retail participation in onchain equity markets, or shapes collateral usage patterns in DeFi protocols, remains to be observed.
