Bullish exchange executes first tokenized equity trades on Solana, enabling 24/7 trading of company shares with stablecoin settlement.

Bullish, the NYSE-listed institutional crypto exchange, has executed its first tokenized equity trades on Solana, marking an expansion into securities tokenization. The exchange's own shares, trading under ticker BLSH, have been tokenized on the Solana blockchain to enable 24/7 trading with near-instant settlement in stablecoins on a regulated digital asset platform.
The move reflects Bullish's broader pivot toward tokenized securities infrastructure. The platform, which operates spot and derivatives markets for Bitcoin and Ethereum through a hybrid architecture combining central limit order book and automated market making, has been building out its tokenization capabilities—including a $4.25 billion acquisition of transfer agent Equiniti in May 2026 to strengthen its end-to-end digital asset infrastructure for regulated securities.
What remains unclear is the scale of trading volume since launch, whether additional equities will be tokenized on Solana, and how the continuous settlement model will interact with traditional market-hours conventions and regulatory frameworks governing securities trading hours in jurisdictions where Bullish operates.
