Chainlink has released CCIP 2.0, an upgraded cross-chain interoperability protocol featuring configurable finality, compliance controls, and a Cross-Chain Verifier tool designed for institutional settlement. The update is backed by ANZ, Fidelity International, Deutsche Börse's Crypto Finance unit, AWS, and Google Cloud, and addresses security vulnerabilities in cross-chain infrastructure that have resulted in nearly $3 billion in losses from bridge exploits.
