Ethereum's Sepolia testnet activated the Glamsterdam upgrade on October 6, raising its block gas limit to nearly 200 million, more than three times mainnet's current 60 million limit. Recent block activity on the testnet showed gas use between 47.1 million and 85.9 million, utilizing roughly 24% to 43% of the increased capacity. The upgrade carries no scheduled date for deployment to Hoodi testnet or mainnet, so Ethereum's main network gas limit remains at 60 million for now.
