Extended launched more than 100 RWA (real-world asset) perpetual markets on its derivatives exchange as of late July 2026, with plans to expand to 1,000 or more onchain RWA listings. The move follows a surge in RWA perpetuals demand: the category generated 937.3 billion dollars in trading volume during Q2 2026—nearly double the prior quarter and triple the full-year 2025 total—according to Stork Research data cited in the announcement. RWA perpetuals now represent roughly 30 percent of Binance's total perpetuals volume.
The platform tackles liquidity fragmentation across long-tail RWAs by using an RFQ (request-for-quote) model that generates on-demand pricing rather than requiring market makers to hold standing depth. Extended segments offerings into RWA Regular markets (hedgeable on other crypto venues) and RWA Prime markets (backed by TradFi hedging partners and launching with conservative caps that expand with volume). Traders interact with both market types through a unified interface; orderbooks appear indicative only in RFQ markets, while core CLOB order matching continues for the most liquid assets.
The initial roster spans semiconductors and chips (Nvidia, TSMC, ASML, ARM, AMD, and others), memory and storage, AI infrastructure, optical systems, power, frontier tech, crypto assets including Hyperliquid Strategies, pre-IPO names, biotech, major equities, software, commodities, indices, and currency pairs. RedStone Live serves as the oracle data layer for selected markets alongside Stork feeds for US equities; exact data sources and market mechanics vary by listing.
