Hyperion DeFi raises full-year guidance and announces $20M buyback program, targeting Q3 profitability.

Hyperion DeFi has lifted its full-year 2026 guidance and announced a new $20 million share buyback program, citing accelerating performance in its core DeFi operations. The company now expects $7M–$8M in adjusted gross profit for the full year, up from its prior range of $5M–$7M. Additionally, Hyperion DeFi projects it will reach positive adjusted net operating cash flow and positive core operating earnings in Q3'26, both accelerated from earlier expectations that pointed to late 2026.
The buyback authorization reflects management's confidence in the business trajectory and addresses what executives view as a valuation opportunity. Chief Executive Officer Hyunsu Jung noted that the company's core DeFi activities are forecast to exceed operating costs for the first time in Q3'26, marking a profitability inflection point. The $20 million program will remain in place for up to 12 months and may employ open market purchases, block trades, or other methods subject to regulatory requirements and market conditions.
The timing and execution of share repurchases will remain subject to management discretion and depend on factors including stock price and broader market conditions. No minimum or maximum number of shares to be repurchased has been specified, and actual repurchase activity may vary substantially.
