Injective becomes the first layer 1 blockchain to register as an SEC transfer agent, enabling regulated RWA tokenization across mortgages, equities, and trade finance.

Injective has obtained SEC registration as a transfer agent, marking the first layer 1 blockchain to hold this status. The registration positions the network to handle real-world asset tokenization spanning mortgages, equities, and trade finance infrastructure.
The chain has accelerated RWA deployment in recent months, launching markets for digital asset treasuries and shares in private companies. Enterprise adoption has followed: POSCO International and LG CNS, the technology subsidiary of LG Group, selected Injective for a live pilot managing the issuance, transfer, administration, and settlement of trade receivables from international commerce. Over the past week, Injective tokenized more than $1 billion in mortgage records on-chain.
Pipeline activity signals further growth. Publicly listed Pineapple Financial intends to tokenize over $10 billion on Injective within coming months, though the timeframe and execution remain subject to completion.
