Injective launches natively on Solana with DEX integrations and governance proposal for RWA and privacy features.
Tech & Launches ·
Injective's INJ token went live natively on the Solana blockchain, with integrations across major DEX and liquidity platforms including Raydium, Meteora, and Phantom wallet support. The launch enables direct token swaps, liquidity provision, and use of INJ as a base pair for new asset launches on Solana. Simultaneously, the Meridian mainnet governance proposal was activated, introducing institutional-grade real-world asset issuance capabilities and native onchain privacy features alongside unified RFQ perpetual markets.
The expansion reflects a broader cross-chain strategy to deepen Injective's liquidity infrastructure and RWA market reach. Over the preceding 30 days, Injective's RWA perpetual markets generated $214.9 million in trading volume, with equities accounting for $127.3 million of that total. The protocol now supports 135 RWA perpetual markets and has accumulated over $6.3 billion in aggregate trading volume since 2025.
The extent to which the Solana integration will drive adoption of INJ as a base pair for token launches or accelerate RWA market participation remains to be determined. The Meridian upgrade's institutional privacy and issuance tooling has not yet been deployed to mainnet, pending governance passage. Longer-term impact on cross-chain liquidity fragmentation and market structure is not yet clear.
