LayerZero launches Zero mainnet and lzATLAS token on November 30 with planned announcements on innovations and partnerships.
Tech & Launches ·
LayerZero will launch the Zero mainnet and lzATLAS token on November 30, with lzATLAS serving as the first application on the new network. The initial deployment, called Open ATLAS, will support more than a dozen trading venues at launch, though the mainnet's early phase will concentrate on open markets. Behind the scenes, institutional participants are already testing lzATLAS infrastructure for major asset classes, including US equities and fixed-income markets that collectively handle over $1 trillion in daily trading and clearing volume.
Trading venues are preparing for production by integrating their infrastructure, running order execution tests, and stress-testing settlement under realistic market conditions. The scope of lzATLAS extends well beyond its initial open-market footprint—institutional use cases span markets far larger than what the mainnet launch will initially showcase. Additional announcements regarding partners and performance metrics are expected in the near term as the network approaches its go-live date.
