Robinhood is exploring a tokenized stock product tied to an actively managed ETF on its blockchain, potentially marking the first of its kind.

Robinhood Crypto is exploring a tokenized stock product that would provide exposure to an actively managed exchange-traded fund on Robinhood Chain, in partnership with T. Rowe Price, an asset manager overseeing $1.9T in assets under management. The effort could result in the first Stock Token of this structure if brought to completion, reflecting continued institutional participation in blockchain-based securities infrastructure.
The collaboration remains preliminary and conditional on multiple steps. Robinhood and T. Rowe Price must complete legal due diligence, secure issuer board approval, finalize terms, obtain all necessary regulatory clearances across relevant jurisdictions, and complete related filings. Robinhood Stock Tokens are structured as tokenized debt securities and are currently unavailable in the United States and to US persons, with restrictions also in effect in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
Several material uncertainties persist: no assurance exists that regulatory approvals will be granted, that the partnership will proceed under the terms described, or that any resulting product will launch in any specific region or timeframe. Robinhood has made no commitment to update statements if circumstances change, except as legally required.
