HiFi closes $37M Series A to build out tokenized capital markets infrastructure.
VC & Fundraising ·
HiFi, a stablecoin payments and tokenized assets company based in New York, has secured a $37 million Series A funding round led by Left Lane Capital. The capital will support expansion of its tokenized capital-markets infrastructure and broader product offerings. The company operates API infrastructure integrating money movement, compliance, and settlement across both traditional bank channels and digital assets, handling more than $7 billion in annual volume across 87 countries.
The timing aligns with two recent milestones: HiFi's involvement in DTCC's July production trades featuring tokenized securities—conducted alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Nasdaq—and a September partnership with Visa to expand stablecoin settlement functionality into money transfers and card payments. The Visa deal enables stablecoin-funded payouts to over 4 billion Visa cards globally.
Stablecoin adoption continues to accelerate, with dollar-pegged tokens now exceeding $295 billion in total supply. Visa reported its stablecoin settlement reached a $20 billion annualized run rate earlier this month, a more than fifteenfold increase year-over-year. Whether HiFi's infrastructure gains meaningful market penetration against competing platforms and how regulatory clarity for on-chain settlement develops remain unresolved.
