ACTFUN has added support for Uniswap V4, enabling Arc tokens to be traded across Uniswap's V2, V3, and V4 liquidity pools. This expansion broadens the trading venues available for Arc, Circle's stablecoin-native layer-1 blockchain, on the decentralized exchange protocol.
Arc is designed around stablecoin finance, using USDC as its fee asset and incorporating features like sub-second finality, embedded foreign-exchange capability, and opt-in transaction privacy. The network operates as an EVM-compatible chain intended to make payments, currency conversion, and tokenized-asset settlement function as integrated components rather than separate applications. A separate ARC token coordinates governance and validator incentives, with a planned eventual shift toward proof-of-stake consensus.
The Uniswap V4 integration represents a step in expanding Arc's liquidity infrastructure, though details remain limited on whether this reflects broader adoption patterns, institutional usage, or the mechanics of how Arc tokens flow across the three Uniswap versions. The depth of integration and long-term implications for Arc's positioning within stablecoin and payments ecosystems remain to be seen.
