Aerodrome and Velodrome merge into single cross-chain protocol with Predictive Allocation emissions model; token recovers from $0.30–$0.35 bottom with $16.2B DEX volume and $7.7M protocol revenue in 30 days.

Aerodrome and Velodrome have unified into a single protocol operating across seven blockchains—Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Robinhood Chain, Arc, and Ink—under the AERO token. All exchange revenue now accrues to staked AERO holders via sAERO, and the protocol has introduced Predictive Allocation, a mechanism that directs token rewards toward pools expected to generate fees, reducing unnecessary minting.
The merged entity has demonstrated tangible economic output: over the past 30 days, AERO-related products handled $16.2B in decentralized exchange volume and generated $7.7M in protocol revenue. Prior to the merger, Aerodrome alone captured over 57% of EVM tokenized-stock DEX volume on October 10, positioning the unified infrastructure to pursue real-world asset flows across multiple chains. The Predictive Allocation system aims to create a compounding dynamic whereby expanded chains attract larger market ecosystems, driving higher volumes and fee collection while constraining dilution.
AERO recovered from a $0.30–$0.35 bottom and cleared prior resistance levels, with on-balance volume readings closer to zero than at previous troughs, suggesting renewed capital inflow. However, total value locked declined from approximately $429M on October 21 to $362M, with Base remaining the primary liquidity center. Emissions dilution remains a structural risk if protocol fee growth cannot sustain the expanded cross-chain footprint.
