Bitget Wallet announced virtual USD and EUR accounts on October 27, 2026, enabling users to receive bank transfers that automatically convert into $USDC or $USDT. The service targets salary payments, client invoices, and family transfers. Eligible users receive account details in their own name, with USD accounts supporting ACH, Fedwire, and SWIFT transfers, while EUR accounts use IBAN and BIC for SEPA payments.
Opening an account is free, though each deposit incurs a fixed fee plus a percentage charge, followed by a network conversion fee. ACH transfers cost 0.5 USD plus 0.3%, Fedwire costs 14 USD plus 0.3%, and SWIFT costs 30 USD plus 0.3%. Applicants must complete identity verification, submit required documents, and receive approval; the service provider typically reviews applications within minutes. Account access and available payment routes vary by region and currency.
The service relies on regulated financial partners rather than operating as a conventional bank account—cash deposits and withdrawals are unavailable. Compliance reviews cover account holder identity, intended use, and fund source. Users who face additional review requirements have 10 working days to submit supplementary documents; failure to respond within that window prevents account opening.
