Arcus, a perpetuals and tokenized equities exchange built by dYdX Labs and backed by Robinhood, launched on July 2 on Robinhood Chain. The platform offers 95 tokenized stocks and 35 RWA perps with 0% spot fees. A separate Arcus token airdrop has been confirmed, though allocation percentages, mechanics, and the token generation event date remain unpublished.
The exchange features tokenized stocks tradable around the clock with no spot trading fees, along with RWA perpetuals across equities, crypto, commodities, and indices. Tokenized stocks can be used as collateral for perpetual positions, and the platform operates on a self-custodial model. Users can participate in a points program by trading on the platform and connecting their dYdX v4 addresses.
Key details about the token distribution have not yet been disclosed. Participants farming points are advised to avoid wash trading and distribute activity across weekly snapshots to maintain point integrity. The specifics of how early traders will be rewarded in the token allocation remain open.
