Binance ETF perpetual contracts surpass $116B trading volume since March 2026, with the exchange commanding 74% market share.

Since their introduction in March 2026, Binance's ETF perpetual contracts have accumulated over $116 billion in trading volume. The exchange's grip on the ETF perpetual market has strengthened significantly, expanding its share from 18% at launch to 74%. The product line now spans 146 TradFi perpetual pairs, with 35 pairs introduced within the past month, covering contracts tied to SPY, QQQ, semiconductor indices, country-focused ETFs, and leveraged and inverse structures.
ETF perpetuals remain a secondary component of Binance's broader perpetual derivatives business, representing 19% of the exchange's total TradFi perpetual trading volume in July. The rapid market-share consolidation suggests accelerating adoption of the product category, though the concentration around a single exchange raises questions about liquidity depth and fragmentation across competitors.
What is not yet clear from available information: whether the volume surge reflects new capital entering ETF derivatives or migration from existing venues, how trading velocity compares to spot and other perpetual categories, and whether regulatory changes or product innovations have driven the recent pair expansion.
