Binance is removing AEUR (Alternative EUR) from trading and converting holdings to EUR.
DeFi & Yields ·
Binance announced it will delist AEUR, the euro-backed stablecoin issued by Anchored Coins AG, on July 31, 2026. The exchange will convert AEUR holdings to EUR during the transition. While Anchored Coins AG halted issuance of new AEUR tokens, the company continues to honor redemptions through its redemption process, with the entire circulating supply remaining fully backed by euro reserves on a 1:1 basis.
The delisting marks a reduction in AEUR's trading venues as the stablecoin's issuer has already ceased new token creation. Users holding AEUR on Binance will need to either convert their positions to EUR ahead of the deadline or redeem directly with Anchored Coins AG through the issuer's stated process.
The notice does not specify whether other exchanges or trading venues will continue supporting AEUR post-July 2026, nor does it detail Binance's conversion mechanism or timeline for converting user holdings to EUR ahead of the delisting date.
