Bybit added 6 xStocks assets as collateral for margin trading, crypto loans, and institutional loans.
DeFi & Yields ·
Bybit is expanding collateral options for margin trading and lending by adding six xStocks assets—NVDAX, HOODX, CRCLX, TSLAX, GOOGLX, and AAPLX—effective July 31, 2026, at 8 AM UTC. These tokenized equity assets will function as collateral across the exchange's margin trading, crypto loans, and institutional loan products, allowing users to pledge them to borrow funds for trading and withdrawals.
The collateral assets support borrowing against them within the Crypto Loans and Institutional Loans offerings, though direct borrowing of the xStocks tokens themselves remains unsupported. Specific collateral ratios and risk parameters for each product will be finalized and published on Bybit's dedicated pages for Margin Trading, Crypto Loans, and Institutional Loans prior to or at launch.
The update signals Bybit's continued integration of traditional stock tokenization into its lending infrastructure, though the operational details and risk weightings for each asset class across the three lending channels have not yet been disclosed.
