Bybit launched USDJPY perpetual contracts with up to 100x leverage, expanding TradFi derivatives offerings.
DeFi & Yields ·
Bybit has listed the USDJPYUSDT TradFi Perpetual Contract, allowing traders to open positions with up to 100x leverage on the USD-JPY currency pair. The contract is accessible through standard perpetual trading as well as automated strategies including Futures Grid, Futures Martingale, and Futures Combo.
TradFi Perpetual Contracts function as synthetic derivatives that track the price movements of traditional finance assets—equities, ETFs, and commodities in this case—without conferring ownership or associated rights in the underlying asset. Trading these contracts carries substantial risks, including potential total loss of margin and leverage-amplified losses. Corporate actions affecting the underlying asset may trigger contract adjustments, price changes, position modifications, or even suspension or termination.
Bybit retains discretion to modify contract specifications including tick size, leverage limits, margin rates, and data sources without prior notice. The product's availability varies by jurisdiction and user eligibility; traders remain responsible for ensuring local regulatory compliance. Full risk disclosures and contract terms are referenced in Bybit's Help Center and Terms of Service documentation.
