Bybit adds Nvidia and SpaceX perpetual options, extends TradFi push to round-the-clock trading
DeFi & Yields ·
Bybit has launched perpetual options tied to Nvidia and SpaceX that trade 24/7, expanding a growing lineup of tokenized exposure to traditional-market names on the exchange.
The new contracts let users take derivatives positions on Nvidia and SpaceX outside the hours when equity markets are normally open, a structural difference from listed options on those underlying shares, which trade only during standard market sessions. The launch was announced via Bybit's official channels and extends the exchange's pattern of wrapping non-crypto assets into always-on trading products.
The move follows a series of similar listings on Bybit. The exchange recently introduced an AMZUUSDT TradFi perpetual contract offering up to 25x leverage, detailed in Bybit's own announcement. It has also listed TLTU/USDT perpetual futures with up to 25x leverage and a SECZUSDT perpetual futures contract, also carrying up to 25x leverage, indicating a broader rollout of tokenized or synthetic exposure to equities, bonds, and other traditional instruments rather than a one-off product tied to Nvidia and SpaceX specifically.
Nvidia's inclusion follows the company's position as the dominant supplier of GPUs underpinning AI infrastructure, reporting $81.62 billion in quarterly revenue in its fiscal first quarter of 2026, up 85 percent year-over-year. Bybit has separately promoted retail-facing exposure to the company, including an NVDAX tokenized Nvidia equity giveaway offering $20 in NVDAX for completing tasks plus 100 USDT in additional rewards tied to AI-sector interest. SpaceX, unlike Nvidia, is not publicly traded, so the perpetual options represent a synthetic derivative product referencing a company whose shares are not otherwise accessible to retail traders through conventional brokerages.
What remains unclear from the announcement is how Bybit prices and settles these perpetual options given that SpaceX has no public equity market to reference, and what collateral, funding-rate, or oracle mechanisms underlie the 24/7 structure when the underlying reference points—especially for SpaceX—are not continuously priced assets. It is also not established whether these products are available to users in all jurisdictions or subject to the same leverage limits seen in Bybit's other recent TradFi-linked perpetual listings. Further detail on trading volume, leverage caps, and settlement methodology for the Nvidia and SpaceX contracts has not yet been disclosed.
