Byzantine Finance and Keyrock partner to offer on-chain credit strategies to institutional treasuries and family offices with non-custodial infrastructure and stablecoin yields up to 7% APY.
DeFi & Yields ·
Byzantine Finance and Keyrock have partnered to bring on-chain credit strategies to institutional treasuries and family offices. Under the arrangement, Keyrock will select and evaluate assets while Byzantine supplies non-custodial infrastructure that allows clients to retain control of their funds. Deposits denominated in euros or dollars are converted into EURC or USDC stablecoins with no direct exposure to Bitcoin or Ether, generating announced yields of up to 5% APY on EURC and 7% APY on USDC.
Byzantine charges a 10% performance fee with no management, entry, or exit fees. The platform reports over 600 users across 10 countries and has processed more than €23 million in transactions to date. The partnership aims to make decentralized finance more accessible to institutional actors by combining Keyrock's asset evaluation capabilities with Byzantine's custody-free technology stack.
What remains unclear is the scope of assets Keyrock will evaluate, the timeline for onboarding new institutional clients, or whether either party plans to expand the yield offerings or fee structures beyond the current terms.
