Circle's stablecoin USDC reached $73.3 billion in circulation during Q2 2026, reflecting 19% year-over-year growth, while the company reported $701 million in combined revenue and reserve income for the quarter. Onchain transaction volume jumped 151% to $14.8 trillion, and adjusted EBITDA climbed 8% to $143 million, indicating strengthening operational metrics.
Alongside these results, Circle unveiled details on Arc, its privacy-focused blockchain protocol. The platform has attracted more than 100 ecosystem and institutional builders and is set to launch its public mainnet on September 16. Arc is designed to support privacy features, programmable finance, and tokenized real-world assets.
The timing of Arc's mainnet launch coincides with Circle's broader expansion in the onchain ecosystem. Whether the protocol gains material adoption and how it differentiates within an increasingly crowded privacy-chain landscape remain to be tested post-launch.
