Falcon Finance expands USDf stablecoin collateral types to include 15 tokenized stocks and ETFs from Ondo and Robinhood.
DeFi & Yields ·
Falcon Finance has expanded the collateral options for minting its USDf stablecoin to include tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds. The protocol's Classic Mint feature now accepts 15 tokens sourced from xStocks, Ondo, and Robinhood, covering assets such as NVIDIA and Tesla shares alongside broader indices like the S&P 500 and gold-backed tokens.
The expansion allows users to pledge real-world asset tokenization as collateral directly within the Falcon ecosystem rather than relying solely on traditional crypto-native assets. By integrating tokens from multiple RWA issuers, the protocol aims to broaden access to stablecoin minting for users holding exposure to equities and commodities in tokenized form.
The mechanics of how these collateral types are valued, what collateralization ratios apply, and whether additional risk management frameworks were introduced alongside the expansion remain unspecified in available announcements.
