Chainlink launches 24/7 market data service for tokenized assets with Aave's Horizon as flagship integrator, covering $1.6B in tokenized stocks.

Chainlink has launched a continuous pricing feed for traditional assets on blockchains, extending market data delivery across weekends and holidays through a combination of regular trading session information and perpetual market quotes. Aave, described as the largest DeFi lending protocol by total value secured, is the inaugural partner adopting the service to value tokenized collateral outside standard market hours.
The infrastructure addresses a fundamental challenge in tokenized real-world asset markets: blockchain networks operate perpetually while traditional exchanges operate on limited schedules, creating gaps where asset pricing becomes unreliable. Chainlink 24/7 bridges this by aggregating data across multiple sessions and venues, eliminating the need for developers to build custom switching logic or suspend markets during weekends. The service currently supports over $1.6 billion in tokenized stocks distributed across six blockchains, with integrations involving partners such as Ondo, Robinhood, and Coinbase.
The launch represents an evolution of Chainlink's earlier weekday equities feed and extends the oracle infrastructure that supports substantial portions of decentralized finance and tokenized asset ecosystems. What remains unclear is the extent to which continuous pricing will shift borrowing and trading volumes toward weekend and after-hours windows, and how market participants will respond to the expanded trading windows now available.
