Ethena's USDe and sUSDe stablecoins launch on Monad with integrated Aave liquidity for large-scale stablecoin borrowing.
DeFi & Yields ·
Ethena's stablecoins USDe and sUSDe are now live on the Monad blockchain, with both assets integrated across the network's ecosystem. The deployment includes a direct integration with Monad's Aave instance, enabling Ethena users to access stablecoin borrowing liquidity at scale. The version of USDe running on Monad operates on a parallelized EVM architecture.
Users holding USDe collateralized on Aave within the Monad network qualify for Liquid Leverage rewards, which can be claimed through Merkl. For moving USDe and sUSDe between chains, Stargate Finance provides the bridging infrastructure. The deployment follows Ethena's established cross-chain standards, including hourly bridge caps and a diversified set of decentralized validators.
The integration enables a direct path from stablecoin deposit to leveraged borrowing within a single ecosystem, though the scale of adoption and utilization remain to be demonstrated as the deployment matures.
