Maple Finance's syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT tokenized credit positions are now live and tradable on 1inch across multiple blockchains. SyrupUSDC is available on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base, while syrupUSDT trades on Ethereum and BNB Chain. These tokens are accessible through 1inch Swap, Trade Terminal, Portfolio, and API.
Unlike standard stablecoins, syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT represent USDC and USDT deployed through Maple's institutional lending system as tokenized credit positions. The integration addresses a core challenge for real-world asset tokens: liquidity provision. Maple manages the underlying lending, minting, and redemption mechanics, while 1inch provides routing and swap infrastructure to enable efficient execution across available liquidity pools.
The arrangement highlights a functional division where asset issuance alone proves insufficient for tokenized credit products. Users moving capital in and out of these positions depend on accessible swap routes; 1inch's role as a routing layer becomes essential infrastructure as real-world assets move onchain. Broader adoption metrics and usage patterns remain to be observed.
