Neo X enables USDC and WETH bridging from Ethereum via Chainlink CCIP through Transporter.

Transporter, a bridging service powered by Chainlink CCIP, has enabled the transfer of USDC and WETH from Ethereum to Neo X. Users bridging USDC will receive it in wrapped form as USDC.e on the destination chain. Neo X, an EVM-compatible sidechain operated by Neo, aims to use this integration to broaden availability of stablecoin and wrapped ETH liquidity for decentralized finance, trading, and other ecosystem applications.
The integration leverages Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol to facilitate the token transfers between Ethereum and Neo X. By reducing friction around accessing major assets on the sidechain, the move seeks to support growth in activity across Neo X's infrastructure and connected applications.
