PancakeSwap is a track partner in Build the Era, a hackathon on BNB Smart Chain running through September 9. The competition invites builders to create AI agents for liquidity management, yield farming, and automated swaps using PancakeSwap products, with the winning marketplace potentially becoming the official BNB Agent Studio platform. More than 200,000 AI agents are already registered on BNB Smart Chain under the ERC-8004 standard, creating demand for a unified marketplace to discover and deploy them.
The hackathon distributes over $40,000 in prizes across multiple partners: BNB Chain contributes $30,000 USDT, PancakeSwap offers 1,000 CAKE tokens, TermiX provides $10,000 USDT, and other ecosystem contributors add credits and reward points. The build period runs from August 5 to September 9, with judging extending through September 23 and a winner announcement scheduled for November 5. Both solo builders and teams may register and submit entries.
The winning submission will gain backing as a standalone product with its own brand and operational team, though specific technical requirements and evaluation criteria for agent performance remain to be detailed in the full challenge guidelines.
