RISE acquired BSX Labs to build an integrated spot and perpetuals orderbook; $RISE token confirmed with 30% of supply earmarked for airdrop, mainnet timing TBD.
DeFi & Yields ·
RISE has acquired BSX Labs, a perpetuals DEX previously backed by Blockchain Capital and Coinbase Ventures, to develop an integrated spot and perpetuals orderbook infrastructure. The combined entity is building an EVM-based trading platform designed for brokers, issuers, and retail traders, with testnet trading competitions currently running that reward both feedback and trading activity.
The $RISE token has been confirmed, with 1.5% of supply already allocated to BSX holders and 30% earmarked for airdrop through a points program running since May 2025. Token generation and mainnet launch timing remain linked, with neither yet specified. The platform promises 1ms order updates and yield generation on idle collateral through an onchain, composable orderbook architecture.
Key open questions include the exact mainnet launch date, total token supply, and vesting schedules for the airdrop allocation. The acquisition's financial terms and the full scope of BSX Labs' existing user base or assets transitioning to RISE remain undisclosed.
