Robin Markets is shutting down its V1 yield product and ending all yield subsidies and points accrual.

Robin Markets announced on November 3, 2026, that it is shutting down its V1 yield product, citing insufficient matching between opposing prediction-market positions and deteriorating yield opportunities on Polygon. The platform will keep the product operational until a replacement launches before year-end, though withdrawals remain available immediately. The company has already halted all subsidies and incentive accrual, effective November 3 at 20:00 UTC—the 6% APY floor and 1% APY bonus for minority-side deposits have ceased, and the points programme has stopped accumulating. Users who staked funds after the cutoff will only earn unsubsidized vault returns.
The V1 mechanism paired Polymarket YES and NO tokens, attempting to match opposing sides so capital could be deployed into yield strategies. Early adopters often faced idle waiting periods for counterparty deposits to arrive, leaving them with no yield while the pool remained unbalanced. Robin cited this liquidity fragmentation alongside weakening external yields on Polygon—the operator had previously partnered with Yearn and other venues that have since become uncompetitive or closed. The company funded the guarantees from its own reserves, which became increasingly unsustainable as organic vault yields declined.
The shutdown leaves several details unresolved: Robin has disclosed no current vault balance, total subsidy outlay, or precise timeline for the V1 product's final removal. Earlier accrued bonuses remain payable upon withdrawal, but no deadline for withdrawals has been set. The planned successor product is expected before year-end, though no specifications have been announced.
