At a hackathon held over the weekend at Founder House London, two teams competing in the Robinhood Chain Track claimed $90,000 in combined prizes. Saffron won the $60,000 Founder-in-Residence Award for building a fixed yield layer on top of Uniswap concentrated liquidity pools that pairs liquidity providers seeking fixed returns with traders purchasing future yield. Agama Finance secured the $30,000 Innovation Award for real-world asset yield infrastructure that automates lending and yield strategies around tokenized stocks.
The hackathon drew 140 founders from over 490 registrations submitting 64 projects competing across multiple tracks for a share of $300,000 in total prizes and grants. Saffron's protocol is in pre-beta with production smart contracts already deployed on Ethereum mainnet, Arbitrum One and Robinhood Chain, while Agama Finance's infrastructure is live on Robinhood Chain. The event also featured General and Agentic Finance tracks, with the Arbitrum Foundation committing an additional $70,000 to support teams showing meaningful progress on the Arbitrum Platform.
The broader hackathon highlighted development across tokenized capital markets, collateral infrastructure, payments and agentic finance. The awards reflect emerging interest in fixed yield mechanisms and tokenized equity infrastructure as core building blocks for onchain finance, though neither team's long-term adoption or product-market fit remains known at this stage.
