StandX has launched SIP-4 on BNB Chain, introducing American-style options on perpetuals built atop its existing SIP-1 protocol. The announcement notes that the combined protocols have already recorded $37M+ in onchain volume, all posted, matched, and settled natively on the blockchain. Two new trading mechanics—Block TP, which allows users to sell the right for counterparties to execute at a target price, and Block SL, which provides flexible downside protection without forced triggers—define the offering.
The protocol's stablecoin, DUSD, has reached $94M+ in total value locked and $318M+ in cumulative supply across BNB Chain. Notional volume matched onchain across both SIP-1 and SIP-4 stands at $40M+, with 19K+ holders of DUSD. The protocol's liquidity pools have ranked first on PancakeSwap for three consecutive months.
StandX plans to introduce SIP-5 Universal Markets next, a framework intended to enable permissionless listing and scaling of markets including perpetuals, prediction contracts, and spot trading. The development roadmap and adoption trajectory beyond the current metrics remain to be detailed.
