According to Wu Blockchain Data Center, UNI token burns reached $1.15 million in value on September 4, marking the first time the daily total exceeded $1 million. The burn comprised 184,000 UNI tokens, the second-highest single-day amount recorded, with Robinhood Chain responsible for 150,000 of that total.
The milestone coincided with a surge in decentralized exchange activity on Robinhood Chain, which posted daily DEX volume exceeding $3 billion for the first time. Uniswap captured approximately 98 percent of that volume, establishing the protocol as the dominant venue on the chain and driving the elevated token burn rate through accumulated trading fees.
What remains unclear is whether the Robinhood Chain volume surge represents a sustainable trend or a one-day spike, and whether UNI burn values will stabilize above the $1 million daily threshold as activity normalizes.
