ZeroHash integrates Tempo and joins its validator set to support institutional stablecoin payments.
DeFi & Yields ·
ZeroHash, a digital asset infrastructure provider, has integrated Tempo and joined its validator set to facilitate institutional stablecoin payments. Tempo is a payments-focused Layer 1 blockchain incubated by Stripe and Paradigm, designed to handle stablecoin settlement at scale with capacity exceeding 100,000 transactions per second, built-in compliance controls, and a validator base that includes Visa, Stripe, and Standard Chartered.
The move reflects growing adoption of Tempo's specialized architecture for financial infrastructure. Unlike general-purpose blockchains, Tempo prioritizes throughput, predictable transaction costs, and regulatory compliance tooling rather than censorship resistance or smart contract composability. The network went live in March 2026 and operates as an EVM-compatible system where transaction fees are paid in stablecoins rather than a volatile native token, targeting fees below one-tenth of a cent per transaction with finality around 600 milliseconds.
ZeroHash's addition to the validator set underscores expanding institutional participation in the network. The exact scope of ZeroHash's role and any technical or commercial terms of the integration remain undisclosed; what remains clear is the pattern of infrastructure providers and financial institutions positioning themselves on Tempo's validator network to support enterprise-grade stablecoin operations.
