Following a security incident on September 24, Bitget identified and remedied the underlying vulnerability and announced a phased withdrawal resumption schedule beginning September 28 at 08:00 UTC. Bitcoin withdrawals will resume first on September 28, followed by Ethereum on September 29, USDT on September 30, and remaining tokens, fiat, and peer-to-peer services on October 2.
The exchange stated that user account balances suffered no impact and that its Protection Fund will absorb the financial consequences of the incident. Trading and deposit functionality remained active throughout the withdrawal suspension. Security firms Mandiant and SlowMist are continuing their involvement in the investigation.
